Hi!Saturday was a picture perfect day for the Russian river. It was a good 105 degrees and the river water was freezing! Nothing will ever stop Caelen from diving in!
Look at how thrilled Addison is to be with her boring old dad. But I have to cut him some slack, he's got a nasty cold and didn't know if he'd even come out with us. We were glad he did :)
Caelen and Grandpa are always on the hunt for something; seashells, rocks, whatever it is, they always search like true treasure hunters. Like it is serious business folks. This day it was rocks that they could see on the river bed below. Later when Grandma took over the job, it became rocks with algae.
With frequent talks of budgeting for Christmas, a December birthday party and buying a Halloween costume, it is so refreshing to get away and enjoy a true summer weekend while they last.

Daddy is feeling better by now!! The girls get prettier by the minute (and Grandpa doesn't look too bad, either!)
